For regularly serviced pianos
A regular tuning is a slight adjustment of the overall tension. Pitches will typically need between 3 and 9 cents (3-9% of a half step) adjustment for a stable tuning. This includes at least two full tuning passes in a row. Base tuning service may include light dust removal, keytop cleaning, bench legs tightening, adjustment of pedals, adjustments to action parts, suggestions on humidity control and future maintenance.
