Double Pitch Raise Tuning
For pianos with minimal service history
A double pitch raise tuning is a long overdue and significant adjustment of the overall tension. Pitches will need over 65 cents (65% of a half step) adjustment. This includes at least four full tuning passes in a row to ensure a stable tuning. Pitch raise tuning service may include light dust removal, keytop cleaning, bench legs tightening, adjustment of pedals, adjustments to action parts, and suggestions on humidity control and future maintenance.
